This DVD is a remake of a DVD that was going to be never produced again DVD or VHSRecapture life as it was through the eyes of documentary, newsreel, and home movie cameramen.

“Albany and District Moving Memories” includes rarely seen images of the Great Southern district in Western Australia, and features the towns of Albany, Kendenup, Bunbury, Manjimup, Pemberton and Margaret River.

See how the towering hardwood forests were harvested by expert axemen and bullock teams in the 1930s, the whaling industry as it was in the 1950s and how the sunny south west corner of Western Australia was promoted to the tourist in the 1960s.
