World War I gathered at Albany in late October 1914.
Albany was the last place in
Australia that the ANZACs saw and is a significant part of ANZAC
history.
Albany was also the home of the
first ever Dawn Service. This ANZAC Day, the Albany
Entertainment Centre will host a simulcast of the moving Dawn
Service held at the Desert Mounted Corps Memorial on Mount
Clarence.
